System Engineer – IXL

We are looking for a System Engineer – IXL
You’ll make a difference by:
• Work assignments:
Execute System engineering of interlockings with special and general engineering tools & processes. Document preparation and performing reviews (e.g. specifications in requirement management, track layouts, interfaces). Customer clarification to fulfil system requirements; training and support both internally and at other locations.
- Member of Engineering team working for Indian & International rail automation projects.
- Work closely with and assist Delivery Manager Interlocking to deliver engineering of IXL subsystem
- You will execute following engineering tasks of interlockings with special and general engineering tools.
- Preparation of Single & double rail track layouts
- Decide trackside equipment positioning & BoQ, room layouts
- Calculate power consumption
- Track vacancy system design
- Cable layouts and related hardware
- Signalling network
- Engineering baseline for further detail engineering
- Perform technical reviews and verification of design documents, including Power Supply scope, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Review and validate hardware circuit diagrams and signalling system designs to ensure functional integrity and safety.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of design activities, including effective task allocation and coordination within the engineering team.
- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for system engineering, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
- Support system integration, testing, and commissioning phases as required to ensure successful project delivery.
You’ll win us over by:
- You have Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical / electronic engineering preferably with railways specific specialization.
- You carry 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in experience in railway signalling systems (e.g., interlocking, wayside systems)
- You have technical knowledge on different subsystems of a railway project.
- Experience in track layouts, cable plans, track vacancy systems (axle counters, AFTC)
- Experience in hardware design review, power supply systems, and signalling architectures
- Knowledge of ETCS wayside is an advantage.
- Knowledge of networking concepts in railway environments.
- Knowledge of Support function (DM/RM/CM), Quality Management, Test, Validation and Safety.
- Knowledge of engineering processes and communication skills to interface different departments.
- You are familiar with CENELEC standards and processes (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129), railway signaling and design engineering
- Fluent English essential both written and oral, knowledge of German / Spanish an asset
- Willing to work as team member in international projects.
- Ready to relocate anywhere in India.
- Willing to travel for onsite works.
