We are looking for a Design Engineer OHE/OCS/OLE – Contact Line Systems – Rail Electrification

You’ll make a difference by: 

• Prepare comprehensive OCS/OHE designs in accordance with customer specifications, EN standards, and Siemens' internal regulations.
• Develop engineering deliverables across all project phases: concept, preliminary, detailed, and construction.
• Produce a full range of design outputs including:Layout Plans (LOP), Cross-Section Designs (CSD), Structure Erection Drawings (SED), Allocation Designs, Bonding & Earthing Plans, Profile Drawings etc.
• Span Calculation, Dropper calculations, Clearance calculations and other relevant calculations with traction system.
• Ability to carry out design and reviews independently.
• Handling of OHE/OCS/OLE data within the Building Information Modelling Process (BIM)
• Elaboration of conceptional solutions and finding answers to ambitious requirements
• Clarification of internal and external interfaces related to Railway Electrification and contact line systems
• Provide technical support in coordination with installation teams and project engineering.

You’ll win us over by: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering
• Preferable 2-5 years of professional experience in the field of overhead catenary system
• Knowledge of 25 kV and 2X25 kV overhead electrification system
• Professional experience in Open Rail Designer, or any Microstation modeling software and/or ACAD
• Knowledge of relevant Indian, European and international standards and railway safety principles
• Knowledge of traction power supply AC and DC systems
• Knowledge of BIM Modelling
• Knowledge of engineering processes
• Experience in international project working environment
• Intercultural experience and good English language.
