What You'll Own
- Regulatory Strategy — Define and implement Siemens' Technical Regulations & Standardization (TR&S) strategy for the UAE and entore region, aligned to global Siemens frameworks
- Licensing & Compliance — Lead all license applications, renewals, amendments, and permit management across federal and local authorities — with speed and precision
- Regulatory Government Relations (Licensing & Compliance Scope) - Act as Siemens’ main point of contact with UAE authorities for licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Intelligence & Advisory — Monitor regulatory announcements proactively, translating changes into actionable strategies before deadlines arrive
- Process Excellence — Continuously audit and improve internal compliance systems, recommending best-practice solutions that scale
- Executive Reporting — Produce consolidated regional reports on TR&S compliance status for senior leadership
What You Bring
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) — essential for government engagement
- 5+ years in regulatory affairs, government relations, licensing, or a comparable compliance-focused role within the UAE and wider region
- Proven government network — active relationships with UAE federal and local authorities (e.g., MOEI, DED, Municipality, Police Departments)
- Strong command of UAE e-government platforms and smart government apps
- A solution-first mindset — you identify gaps and close them without waiting to be asked
