Role Overview: -

As the Transfer of Technology Workstream Lead for a new greenfield Power Transformer manufacturing facility, you will define the manufacturing process engineering strategy and drive execution from early design through start of production. You will lead equipment concept and specification, supplier selection and procurement support, and oversee build, delivery, installation, and commissioning—working closely with senior management and cross-functional project leaders.

You will guide a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring solutions meet Indian legislation and Siemens Energy EHS and quality standards, and that deliverables are fully documented and auditable. Success requires strong leadership in complex industrial projects, change management capability, and a continuous-improvement mindset to keep manufacturing solutions state-of-the-art.

Role & Responsibility:-

Define and implement material and production flow across manufacturing areas.
Finalize detailed layouts for production and testing areas, including interfaces with logistics and utilities.
Define and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing processes, including quality control gates and milestones.
Develop a competence matrix per workstation (headcount, skills/know-how) and support ramp-up planning.
Support the implementation of digital manufacturing solutions and data-driven performance management.

Accountable for :

Delivery of project milestones in line with the agreed timeline.
Management of project budgets (Capex and one-time costs) with transparency and control.
Zero accidents, zero fatalities, and zero high-potential incidents.
100% legal compliance for EHS requirements and audit readiness.

About the team

The environment is fast-paced, safety-driven, and highly team-oriented, with engineers, supervisors, and support functions working closely together to deliver reliable, high-quality manufacturing capabilities for our customers.
The Transfer of Technology team plays a critical role in our Project Expansions and Operations business. This position reports to the Execution Project Manager and collaborates closely with all project workstreams and operational areas, leading directly the engineering team working on Transfer of Technology. The role offers access to continuous training and international certifications, participation in strategic productivity and sustainability initiatives, and involvement in the digital transformation of all our manufacturing processes through innovative technologies. You will thrive in a diverse and inclusive environment that values new perspectives and encourages innovation.
