You’ll make a difference by:
- Maintain set quality control systems for production processes.
- Perform visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) to identify soldering defects, component misplacements, and other anomalies.
- Conduct final inspection of finished products, cabinets to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, Projects and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Visits suppliers’ premises for the monitoring manufacturing quality of products.
- Document and report non-conformances, initiate corrective and improvement actions.
- Support incoming material inspection and FAI for vendor quality assurance.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, customer audits).
- Maintain and update inspection checklists, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect identification.
- Ensure ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and other safety protocols are followed during inspection and handling.
Your success is grounded in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Industrial, or related field).
- 2–4 years of experience in a production quality role, preferably in electronics or PCBA manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).
- Experience with visual inspection techniques
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficient in data analysis, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
