We are looking for Project Manager – Internal
We are seeking an experienced professional with Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and with over 10+ years of experience in Metro/Railway electrification projects. The role focuses on Design coordination, procurement management, execution, testing, and commissioning of Flexible and Rigid Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) and switching station along with strong expertise in Project Management processes aligned with PM@Siemens standards.
You’ll make a difference by
- Lead end-to-end execution of OCS (Flexible & Rigid) and Retractable Catenary System
- Responsible for Design Coordination, Detailed BOQ preparation from approved design, supervising installation, testing, commissioning team, and customer handover.
- Manage project schedule, cost, quality, EHS, and customer satisfaction.
- Head execution teams comprising site managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules, site utilization plans, and progress reports.
- Conduct and manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site testing activities.
- Support design review, technical clarifications, and system integration activities.
- Implement and monitor project processes aligned with PM@Siemens standards, including Cost Management, Time & Resource Management, Quality Management, Procurement Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Stakeholder Management, Document Management Learning in Project
- Ensure adherence to governance and reporting structures.
- Interface Management across multiple agencies i.e., SCADA, Rolling Stock, Civil, Track, E&M, Signaling & Telecom (S&T), Customer, Stakeholders etc.
- Ensure seamless interface coordination and contractual compliance.
- Lead client meetings, technical discussions, and progress reviews.
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS standards and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement method statements and risk assessments
- Drive quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Installation and Testing Procedures
- Maintain project documentation and ensure audit compliance.
Desired Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in Metro/Rail electrification projects preferably in both AC and DC Traction. with more than 5 years, particularly in Rigid Overhead catenary System and Retractable Catenary
- Proven experience in end-of-the-end project delivery Installation Testing and commissioning in Metro/Railways sector along with DLP management for at least 4 years
- Very good understanding DOORS tool for Requirements Management
- PM@Siemens knowledge or S Category Certification.
- Knowledge of - System Integration, Stakeholder Management, Requirements Management (DOORS), Quality Control, Procurement management and EHS management.
