We are looking for a Manager Sales and Projects – Rail Electrification.

This role is responsible for integrating technical and business perspectives across the lifecycle of rail electrification projects, including urban transport solutions (metro, tram, trolleybus, light rail etc.). The role drives acquisition of new business opportunities, technical decision-making, supports bid and project execution, ensures successful project delivery, and builds strong stakeholder relationships. It contributes to business growth, innovation, and localization of expertise in railway electrification systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Bridging Technical and Business Aspects: Interfacing technical and commercial aspects of electrification opportunities (OCL, traction power substations, SCADA systems, etc.)
  • Technical Decision-Making: Participation in bidding and execution; guiding design and implementation of electrification systems
  • Project Delivery: Planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of electrification projects
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Building strong customer and partner relationships while coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge Development: Building expertise in electrification systems and supporting knowledge transfer
  • Market and Business Development: Supporting bidding processes and identifying new opportunities in urban rail electrification
Your Superpowers:
  • Expertise in (rail) electrification systems (Traction Power Substations, Rectifier Stations, SCADA systems, OCL, etc.)
  • Degree in Electrical or Railway Engineering or equal
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to connect engineering with business impact
  • Proven drive to deliver complex projects end-to-end
  • Strong customer orientation and requirements ownership
  • Influencing and alignment across multidisciplinary teams
  • Continuous learning and knowledge-sharing mindset
  • Confidence in field execution and international collaboration
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally
  • Proficient in English; German is a plus
