Senior Application Support Enginner(Tessent )

Job Responsibilities:
DFT Technical Issue Diagnosis & Resolution:
- Respond to customer technical support requests concerning Tessent DFT
- Deeply analyze customer-provided design data (RTL, netlists), DFT insertion reports, simulation waveforms, test patterns, diagnostic results, log files, etc., to identify and resolve sophisticated technical issues encountered during DFT insertion, verification, test pattern generation, test coverage analysis, and fault diagnosis.
DFT Flow & Best Practice Guidance:
- Provide customers with functional consultation and operational guidance for Tessent DFT tools, along with DFT flow optimization suggestions and procedures tailored to customer design characteristics, to help them efficiently achieve their chip design for testability goals.
Customer Training & Empowerment:
- Deliver customized training to customers on Tessent DFT software usage, sophisticated features, specific DFT architectures (e.g., hierarchical DFT, test compression), etc. As per their needs, enhancing their DFT design capabilities and ability to independently resolve issues.
Collaboration with R&D Team:
- Collect, reproduce, and meticulously document software defects (Bugs) and feature enhancement requests reported by customers, especially feedback related to DFT algorithms, tool performance, and compatibility, providing clear and accurate feedback to the R&D team to assist in bug fixing and product improvement.
User Documentation & Knowledge Base Maintenance:
- Create, update, and maintain user documentation, application notes, FAQs, and knowledge base articles related to Tessent DFT software, especially documents addressing sophisticated DFT issues and solutions, to facilitate customer self-service and problem resolution.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, conducting regular technical exchanges and follow-ups to understand customer needs and challenges in DFT, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Industry Trends & Technical Learning:
- Continuously learn and master the latest DFT technologies, IEEE standards (e.g., 1149.1, 1500, 1687), sophisticated test methodologies (e.g., volume diagnosis, debug techniques), integrated circuit design trends, and company product updates, constantly improving personal professional knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience or above in Microelectronics, Integrated Circuit Design, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8 years validated experience in integrated circuit design, DFT insertion and verification, ATE testing, or related technical support.
- Profound understanding of DFT principles and methodologies and proficient in the use and debugging of the Siemens Tessent DFT toolchain.
- In-depth understanding of the integrated circuit design flow (RTL to GDSII), especially the insertion and verification of DFT at different stages of the design flow and its impact on subsequent processes.
- Familiar with the basic principles of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and test pattern formats (e.g., STIL/WGL/TDL), capable of assisting customers in resolving ATE-related test issues.
- Proficient in Tcl, Perl, or Python scripting in Linux/Unix, capable of writing and debugging automation scripts to improve DFT efficiency and solving.
- Fluent in Chinese and good English reading and writing skills, able to read English user documentation and conduct English technical communication.
Good to have: Experience or development capability in applying AI/Machine Learning in DFT (e.g., test pattern generation optimization, intelligent fault diagnosis).
