About the role

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer (Generative AI & Agentic Systems) to join our Global CApS AI Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in Siemens’ AI strategy, helping to translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable, production-ready solutions across the organisation.

Working within a growing global team, you will design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that support engineering and operations teams, improving how we work and deliver value to our customers. This is a hands-on role at the forefront of Generative AI, offering the opportunity to work with new technologies, influence how AI is adopted, and contribute to a fast-evolving and high-impact area of the business.

This role is to be based in Poland, with flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver AI-enabled capabilities, including copilots, assistants, agentic workflows, and RAG-based solutions
• Build and support scalable AI platforms and reusable components, including templates, integrations, and deployment patterns
• Ensure AI solutions are secure, governed, and enterprise-ready, aligning with standards for risk, privacy, and compliance
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions, from design and development through to deployment and operation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI systems through monitoring, evaluation, and optimisation
• Enable adoption of AI across teams by providing guidance, best practices, and technical support

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills, including experience with Python and clean coding practices
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based and Generative AI solutions beyond prototype stage
• Experience with RAG architectures, agents, and multi-step AI workflows
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure also considered)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
• Ability to design and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions within structured engineering environments
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) to enhance developer productivity and code quality

The total cash compensation range for this position is PLN 255,500 to 460,000 with 13% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement).
