We have a great opportunity for you in Siemens Industrial Services team!

What will you do:

As a Service Engineer you are responsible for carrying out implementation projects alone or as part of a project group. Your tasks will include daily interface with customers and their automation systems. The project scopes vary from system pre-design to commissioning and from training to troubleshooting. The work is delivered in co-operation with OT and IT departments of Siemens and Customers. Active daily coordination of activities and participation in meetings is a must.

To carry out your role from day one, you must have a basic understanding of Siemens technology and TIA Portal. Most importantly you must have the skill to adapt to new systems and technology. You are eager to learn more about new technologies. 
You will work as a part of Service Operations team, consisting of OT and IT specialists, all delivering services to Finnish industrial sector. Your role will be in the middle of service delivery experts: delivering service contract work and supporting your team members. This role offers a possibility to grow, obtain skills and have wider responsibility for service delivery.

Requirements:
  • Experience in implementation projects and customer work in Finnish industry
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens technology and TIA Portal
  • You know how to work independently in customer problem solving situations, both remotely and at their premises
  • You are full of ideas, and think outside the box - more broadly than just regarding technology or a single angle
  • Service mindset - in case a customer case requires, you do not hesitate to serve customers in cross-border projects in both English and Finnish
  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in technology or industrial automation or equivalent
  • You speak fluent Finnish and English
  • You are located and live in Finland. Preferred location Espoo or Tampere.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Southern Finland to customer locations
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity service and NIS2 directive are considered as an advantage
  • Experience of delivering predictive maintenance and cybersecurity services is considered as an advantage
