Position Overview

The Product Advocate serves as the central point of command and coordination for the DevOps teams that support the Testlab product, ensuring their work aligns with product priorities and operational goals. This role translates input from development and DevOps into clear direction, driving execution across multiple workstreams. The Product Advocate actively manages and prioritizes DevOps-related backlogs, balancing competing demands to maximize product value. Regular engagement with stakeholders ensures alignment, clarity, and informed decision-making. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the role supplies broadly to the ongoing development, improvement, and success of the DevOps support of the Testlab product.


Key Responsibilities

- Lead DevOps coordination, prioritization, and release execution across tools, workflows, and support channels
- Translate product and architecture needs into actionable DevOps execution while aligning stakeholders and resolving ambiguity
- Ensure product quality through validation, tooling support, and continuous improvement of delivery and testing processes
- Own and manage DevOps infrastructure, systems, and environments, including servers, VMs, networking, and lifecycle maintenance
- Manage DevOps assets, licensing, and hardware resources to support operational and development needs
- Lead the evolution and management of development tooling, repositories, and build environments, including migration and modernization initiatives
- Ensure DevOps-related IT infrastructure is aligned with security, compliance, and corporate policy requirements
- Contribute to the definition of strategic vision for DevOps and Testlab infrastructure, ensuring long-term sustainability, evolution, and knowledge continuity
- Work closely with other Product Advocates to balance priorities and negotiate the use of limited DevOps capacity across multiple products and organizational goals


Qualifications 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of training and hands-on experience)
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, software development workflows, and infrastructure concepts, preferably within the Test lab domain or a similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems into actionable tasks and drive them through to completion
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and leading workstreams to successful delivery
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as an effective conduit between technical teams, product stakeholders, and leadership

Additional Desired Skills

- Experience with backlog management and prioritization tools (e.g., Jira) and release coordination processes
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving environments
- Familiarity with modern development ecosystems (CI/CD, source control systems, build tools, and infrastructure platforms)
- Track record of improving processes, workflows, or tooling to increase team efficiency and product quality
- Experience applying structured project management practices (e.g. planning, tracking, risk management) to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely delivery

Compensation & Benefits

The primary locations for this opportunity are Belgium, Spain, Czechia, and Romania. 
The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:


Belgium: 61,500 EUR – 110,700 EUR
Romania: 186,000 RON – 353,300 RON
Spain: 52,100 EUR – 83,300 EUR
Czechia: 995,400 CZK – 1,791,800 CZK


This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
