Position Overview:
Join a team that's helping shape the future of rail transportation. As a PCB Assembler, you'll build critical electronic systems that power locomotives, passenger rail, and transit solutions used across North America. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced technology in a quality-driven manufacturing environment where your contributions make a real impact.
What your day may look like:
- Assemble and populate printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies using components such as resistors, capacitors, relays, and integrated circuits.
- Perform precision soldering, wire preparation, crimping, terminating, and component installation while meeting quality workmanship standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and Bills of Material (BOMs) to accurately build products.
- Work in an ESD-controlled environment and safely utilize hand tools and light power tools to complete assembly activities.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance, ensuring reliable performance and adherence to production standards.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and deliver high-quality products.

To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus with 1+ years of electronics, PCB, electro-mechanical, or manufacturing assembly experience.
- Experience reading assembly drawings, work instructions, technical documentation, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Basic soldering skills and hands-on experience working with electronic components; through-hole and SMT soldering experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, along with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards; IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, and/or IPC-A-620 certifications are a plus.

The base salary range for this position in Munhall, PA is $16.40/hr. - $21.30/hr. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $16.40/hr - $21.30/hr per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
