GridSoftware Software Finance Segment head for Americas
- Leading the Grid Software Segment controlling function for the Americas and ensuring alignment with Grid Software strategy across budgeting, forecasting, quoting, order acquisition, and commercial performance.
- Driving profitability across Americas countries, including resource planning, market support, financial target achievement, and performance improvement in partnership with technical and business counterparts.
- Overseeing financial performance for the Software Meter Data Management product house, including worldwide profitability, forecast accuracy, budget performance, and key financial goals.
- Preparing annual business plans, financial forecasts, key performance indicators, and clear action plans to support long-term, mid-term, and operational business goals.
- Partnering with Sales, Consulting, technical leaders, and global business heads on pricing strategy, contract negotiations, cost controlling, productivity achievement, and additional project pipeline development.
- Leading commercial and financial governance for bids and proposals, including approval processes, pricing strategy, long-term project reviews, risk and opportunity assessments, profit and loss responsibility, balance sheet oversight, and free cash flow forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or a similar commercial finance leadership role
- Experience supporting or leading finance activities within a software business
- Experience with project management, commercial project management, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
- Solid accounting knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret key financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow performance
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of SAP
- Experience with data, reporting, and data analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions through financial analysis, business insight, and strong partnership with operational and technical leaders
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading finance for a software, SaaS, digital grid, energy, utility, or technology business
- Experience supporting license revenue, SaaS revenue, multiyear contract revenue, and long-term project pricing
- Experience with contract negotiations, commercial governance, bid approvals, risk and opportunity assessments, and pricing strategy
- People management experience with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, lead, and develop direct reports
- Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, time management, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
