Senior Commercial Project Manager- Data Center, SI Buildings
What part will you play?
As a Commercial Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of our projects – owning the financial and contractual landscape from the very first proposal all the way through to delivery. You'll be a key voice in the quotation team, helping shape competitive and well-grounded bids, and once a project kicks off, you'll work side by side with the project manager to make sure we meet our goals together.
You'll be joining a team that's passionate, driven and on an exciting journey to become the go-to team for large-scale building automation and data center projects across multiple sites. You’ll make an impact by:
- During the quotation phase, contribute to the preparation of an estimate and the quotation.
- As part of a project team, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
- Coordinating supporting processes (insurance, credit check, taxes).
- In addition, as Commercial Project Manager you will also be involved in the execution of these projects. Hereby your activities mainly consist of:
- Financial and contractual management during the realization of the projects.
- Lead proactive claim identification, quantification, documentation, and negotiation.
- Own the commercial risk register and ensure continuous risk assessment and mitigation action tracking.
- Drive variation order and change management processes across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and drive corrective measures.
- Calculating, negotiating and supervising changes.
- Conduct and take part in regular project reviews – and be able to contribute on key commercial topics, e.g., actual vs forecast on key financial KPIs including overall outlook on revenue, EBIT, cash flow etc.
- In this role, you will also be collaborating with World Commercial Project Managers from the Global Enterprise Program team, based in Zug, Switzerland.
You’ll win us over by:
- Having a bachelor's degree in business administration/economics or equivalent experience combined with solid hands-on experience as a CPM on C-level (or B-level) projects.
- Advanced understanding of bid, contract, change and claim management processes with hands-on experience in commercial risk, opportunity and issue management.
- Experience coordinating change processes across stakeholders (e.g. PM, procurement, legal, engineering).
- Being a confident team player with sharp analytical skills, the resilience to handle complexity and the courage to speak up when it matters.
- Having insight into SAP R/3 Business Warehouse, MS Office, IFRS and SOX as well as SAP
- open to traveling internationally if needed.
- Professional English skills (written and spoken) and ideally proficiency in a Nordic language
