Compensation

Our graduate programme may be structured as a contingent worker arrangement, depending on local legal requirements. The anticipated allowance for this opportunity is R 25 000 per month. For contingent worker arrangements, individuals will be engaged and employed by a third-party provider, not Siemens, and therefore will not be eligible for Siemens employee benefits.

Our Commitment to Equity and Inclusion

We value equal opportunities and welcome applications from all backgrounds. At Siemens, we believe people who've had real experiences dealing with being different will excel as leaders. Let's foster a culture of creativity and innovation. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. Our recruitment process aligns with our Employment Equity Plan, ensuring fair representation of all designated groups as per the South African Employment Equity Act.

Hear From Our Genesis Graduates

“The Genesis Programme has been transformative in accelerating my professional development and building my confidence as a capable engineer. Through this comprehensive programme, I have gained not only the technical skills but also the mindset needed to tackle complex challenges with assurance. In a remarkably short timeframe, I have developed hands-on proficiency across multiple critical software platforms—including CAD, PLM, and Simulation software—that are essential to our industry. This practical experience has been invaluable in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application. The Genesis Programme has not only elevated my technical competence but has fundamentally strengthened my confidence as a graduate engineer.” - Lwandile

“The programme creates a supportive environment that encourages both personal and professional growth, combining structured learning with meaningful hands-on experience to accelerate development and enable successful integration into the broader Siemens ecosystem. What sets the Genesis Programme apart is the remarkable investment Siemens makes in its people. The resources, mentorship, and learning opportunities available are exceptional, creating an environment where continuous growth is not only possible but inevitable. Participants are empowered to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and gain confidence while being supported every step of the way. More than a development programme, Genesis is a platform for unlocking potential. It fosters a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation, allowing individuals to grow at an accelerated pace while building a strong foundation for long-term success. Simply put, the Genesis Programme is the realization of potential in action.” - Reece
