Technical Program Manager – Xcelerator Deployment (XD)

Xcelerator Deployment (XD) Organization

At Siemens, we enable sustainable progress through the fusion of the real and digital worlds. We help customers transform how they design, engineer, manufacture, and operate through innovative technologies, deep domain expertise, and outcome-driven execution.

The Xcelerator Deployment (XD) organization serves as Siemens' strategic deployment and incubation team, helping customers adopt transformative technologies while defining the next generation of scalable delivery models, reference architectures, and industry solutions.

We are seeking a highly technical, execution-oriented Technical Program Manager to lead some of our most strategic initiatives across Federal, Aerospace & Defense, Datacenter, CPG, Semiconductor, and other growth industries.

This role combines customer-facing program leadership with internal transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will orchestrate complex deployments, drive standardization efforts, establish reusable delivery frameworks, and help shape Siemens' future deployment models for emerging technologies and digital transformation programs.

This role can be located anywhere in the continental US.

You'll make an impact by:

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs from opportunity shaping through scoping, deployment, lifecycle support and value realization.
  • Managing complex strategic initiatives across automation, industrial software, executable digital twins, AI, Industrial Edge, SCADA, data platforms, and IT/OT environments.
  • Providing program leadership for high-visibility customer and ecosystem partner engagements, including emerging technology initiatives and strategic accounts and other next-generation manufacturing and infrastructure programs.
  • Driving executive alignment, governance, financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across Siemens organizations, partners, and customers.

Greenfield & Industry Transformation Initiatives

  • Leading the deployment approach for greenfield factories, datacenters, advanced manufacturing facilities, and critical infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborating with customers and Siemens business units to define future-state architectures, implementation roadmaps, and scalable deployment strategies.
  • Helping establish Siemens as a trusted advisor for large-scale digital transformation and industrial modernization programs.

Standardization & Deployment Excellence

  • Driving the creation of repeatable deployment models, reference architectures, best practices, governance frameworks, and reusable technical assets.
  • Identifying lessons learned across projects and transforming them into scalable organizational capabilities.
  • Establishing program management disciplines that improve delivery consistency, speed, quality, and customer outcomes.

Technical Orchestration

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams spanning software, automation, operations technology, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, systems integration, and consulting organizations.
  • Serving as the technical and operational integration point across Siemens business units, delivery teams, partners, and customer stakeholders.
  • Driving alignment between solution architecture, deployment execution, and customer business outcomes.
  • Managing dependencies across complex ecosystems involving internal teams, third-party partners, engineering firms, contractors, and system integrators.

Portfolio Development & Innovation

  • Supporting the incubation and operationalization of emerging Siemens technologies, deployment models, and digital transformation offerings.
  • Working closely with portfolio management, product organizations, field CTO teams, and delivery organizations to validate new approaches and drive market adoption.
  • Providing direct feedback from customer deployments to influence future product direction and solution development.

Executive Communication & Governance

  • Establishing program governance frameworks, steering committees, executive reviews, and performance metrics.
  • Communicating program status, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Driving accountability across complex stakeholder landscapes while maintaining focus on customer outcomes.

  • Technical understanding of industrial automation, MES/MOM, SCADA, Industrial Edge, digital twins, AI, cloud architectures, and industrial software platforms.
  • Experience with greenfield and brownfield manufacturing programs, critical infrastructure projects, or large-scale facility modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with systems integration, EPC environments, operational technology architectures, and industrial cybersecurity considerations.
