Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for Rail Electrification - Process Automation Delivery Manager in Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for talented and passionate Engineers with experience in Railway Systems, particularly in:
- Project Leadership & Management: Lead and coordinate engineering teams for assigned projects, ensuring the successful planning, design, and execution of work packages with a strong focus on quality, cost, schedule, and resource efficiency. This includes managing requirements, project schedules, and cost control as a core team member.
- Technical Expertise & System Integration: Provide comprehensive technical support, including system design input during bidding phases, and oversee the technical integration of electrical systems within bulk, traction, and service substations. Demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering and testing process automation systems, specifically with Simatic, SIPROTEC, SICAM, and Sitras MDC product families.
- Commissioning & Testing Coordination: Coordinate all installation and commissioning activities throughout relevant project phases. This also involves organizing internal and external tests (FIT, FAT), as well as customer training activities to ensure system functionality and client satisfaction.
- Engineering & Software Development Support: Support engineering and testing for AC and DC traction power supply control and protection systems. This includes preparing control software for substation control systems, parameterizing protection relays, developing HMI projects, and executing acceptance tests.
- Documentation & Customer Support: Coordinate the creation of all customer-facing documentation for completed work packages, including operation and maintenance manuals. Additionally, provide commissioning support by analyzing technical issues and responding to technical inquiries from manufacturers and commissioning engineers.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering, coupled with mandatory project management training (certification preferred).
- 6-10 years in an engineering project manager role, specifically with substation control and protection systems in power grid projects.
- Strong knowledge of protection device parameterization (SIPROTEC, Sitras), PLC/HMI/network device parameterization (Simatic, Scalance, Ruggedcom) with TIA Portal, WinCC, Step7. Proficient in industrial communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-104/101, Profinet, Modbus, IEC 61850) and programming (IEC 61131-3, C, C++, C#).
- Good understanding of electrical/communication network designs and drawings, with desirable experience in plant layout and rail electrification project execution.
- Proactive, results-oriented, customer-focused, with strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Must be adaptable, willing to travel internationally, and have a good command of English.
