You’ll make a difference by:

  • Core Auditing & Inspection Responsibilities
    • The primary responsibility in Partner Business Auditing is to ensure compliance, capability, and continuous improvement across a worldwide partner network.
    • Conduct partner audits (remote) as Lead / Co Auditor according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and VDA 6.3 standards.
    • Perform document-based evaluations and deep dive assessments, particularly for quality, process stability, and EHS.
    • Lead kick off meetings with global partners to align on:
    • Inspection scope.
    • Expectations.
    • Timelines and responsibilities.
  • Partner Qualification, Release & Governance
    • Partner auditors play a key role in safeguarding Siemens’ quality standards across the partner lifecycle.
    • Support the release, monitoring, and re qualification of partners, aligned with internal partner approval processes.
    • Contribute to the revision and update of partner approvals based on audit results and performance trends.
    • Evaluate and approve special processes and initial sample inspections (zero series samples) in cooperation with partners worldwide.
    • Ensure consistent application of quality requirements across different regions, cultures, and maturity levels.
  • Inspection Planning & Cross Functional Coordination
    • Given the global nature of Partner Business, structured coordination is essential.
    • Prepare inspection checklists tailored to:
    • Partner type.
    • Inspection type.
    • Product and technology scope.
    • Plan and coordinate inspections jointly with Sales, QM, Technical, EHS, and regional stakeholders across time zones and regions.
    • Organize and align remote inspection schedules with global partners and internal experts.
  • Corrective Actions and Performance Tracking
    • A strong focus is placed on follow up, sustainability, and measurable improvement.
    • Track and validate corrective actions with partners until effective closure.
    • Create and maintain KPIs.
    • Audit and inspection reports.
    • Reviews and management summaries.
    • Drive action tracking and ensure accountability on partner side.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
    • Transparent communication is critical, especially in a worldwide partner setup.
    • Finalize inspection and audit reports, including:
    • Action lists.
    • Conclusions.
    • Required signatures.
    • Provide signed reports and formal feedback to partners.
    • Communicate findings clearly and professionally in English; Spanish skills are a strong advantage for selected regions.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Technical & Professional Competencies
    • Experience in process and product audits as well as supplier and partner qualification.
    • Understanding of medium voltage products and processes (advantageous).
    • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
    • You have several years of professional experience in quality management or operations.
    • Ideally, you are a certified auditor within depth knowledge of Quality and EHS management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3).
  • Methodological & Organizational Competencies
    • Highly structured and well-organized working style, particularly in:
    • Planning and execution of parallel audits and inspections.
    • Document and evidence reviews.
    • Action tracking and deadline management across multiple partners.
    • Ability to implement complex audit and inspection processes in a systematic, transparent, and standardized manner.
    • Strong competence in corrective action management.
    • KPI driven approach with a focus on transparency, sustainability, and effective closure of actions.
  • Global & Intercultural Competencies
    • Experience working in interdisciplinary, global, and cross functional networks.
    • High level of intercultural awareness and sensitivity when dealing with partners of different maturity levels and cultural backgrounds.
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
    • Spanish language skills as a strong advantage.
  • Personal & Leadership Competencies
    • Ability to confidently manage remote and globally distributed partners.
    • Clear, reliable, and audience appropriate communication.
    • High degree of ownership, reliability, and execution strength.
    • Structured prioritization when handling parallel topics, time zone differences, and changing stakeholders.
