  • Analyze project scope for risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities to optimize solutions and cost competitiveness.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams, subcontractors, vendors, and sales teams to obtain technical quotations and develop bid strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver final customer-facing proposals and estimates.
  • Collaborate with remote sales, operations, project management, and engineering teams to support project pursuits.
  • Respond to technical and pricing inquiries from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Maintain complete estimation documentation and support project handover activities after order award.

  • Mentor and guide junior estimators and team members on estimating best practices.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), including controllers, sensors, output devices, communication protocols, and user interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to identify HVAC equipment and automation requirements from building plans and specifications.
  • Experience reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and building automation drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of BAS integrations, open protocols, APIs, and third-party system connectivity.
  • Experience estimating BAS solutions for critical environments such as data centers, laboratories, life sciences facilities, healthcare environments, or operating rooms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with estimating, quoting, and proposal management tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative global environment.
