About the Role
As the Sales Manager for Sustainability and Digitalisation for Fleet Vertical, you will drive strategic sales efforts focused on Siemens’ sustainability themes of energy efficiency and decarbonization. You will be responsible for independently generating leads, engaging hospitality, healthcare, aviation and data-centre clients, and driving adoption of Siemens’ integrated solutions that help reduce energy consumption, optimize operations, and support clients’ net-zero goals.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Independently identify and qualify manufacturing clients with sustainability ambitions.
Develop outreach strategies using industry networks, events, digital platforms, and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with Siemens’ energy efficiency and decarbonization themes.
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Execute go-to-market strategies for Siemens’ sustainability offerings in manufacturing.
Collaborate with regional and vertical sales teams to expand market reach.
Drive strategic account planning and territory development.
Consultative Selling & Client Engagement
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client sustainability goals and operational challenges.
Present tailored solutions focused on energy optimization, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainable operations.
Co-create proposals with technical teams and ensure alignment with client ROI and ESG targets.
Revenue Growth & Target Achievement
Own and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets with accurate forecasting.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
Stay updated on sustainability trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine positioning and messaging.
Represent Siemens in industry forums and sustainability events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, delivery, and product teams to ensure solution feasibility and client success.
Support post-sales implementation and ensure customer satisfaction.
Share client insights to influence roadmap and innovation.

What You Bring
Experience: 8+ years in sales, with strong exposure to sustainability and energy solutions.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record in lead generation, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, energy systems, and sustainability drivers.
Solar Experience: Prior experience in selling solar solutions will be a strong advantage.
Tools Proficiency: CRM systems (Salesforce), MS Office is a must
Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Mindset: Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a passion for sustainability and client success.
