Let’s make tomorrow different today.

At Siemens, we're not just building technology; we're building a better future. Our Global Business Services (GBS) organization is at the heart of our operations, driving efficiency and innovation across the globe. We believe in the power of continuous improvement to transform our processes, delight our customers, and empower our people. That's where you come in!

About the Role:

Knowledge is a strategic asset for providing a positive people experience, enabling consistent service delivery, supporting operational excellence, facilitating collaboration, and it is the foundation of our GBS business continuity. As Knowledge Management Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Knowledge Management within GBS Hire-to-Retire (H2R).

In this position, you will drive the evolution of the H2R Knowledge Management framework and support the establishment of a sustainable operational model that enables effective knowledge creation, maintenance, sharing, and reuse across H2R. Working closely with a broad network of stakeholders, you will help translate strategic objectives into practical standards, and ways of working that strengthen knowledge maturity throughout the organization.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how Knowledge Management is developed and embedded throughout our processes. Whether through engaging governance, community building, enablement, measurement and continuous improvement, you will help create an environment where knowledge is managed as a valuable organizational asset and contributes to long-term business success.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the development and continuous evolution of the H2R Knowledge Management framework, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business needs.
  • Establish and maintain standards, principles, lifecycle requirements, and ways of working that enable consistent and sustainable Knowledge Management throughout our people processes.
  • Build and foster a global network of Knowledge Owners, Knowledge Managers, Authors, and other stakeholders, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best-practice exchange.
  • Partner with delivery teams, service lines, and functional stakeholders to embed Knowledge Management principles and support the adoption of governance standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for Knowledge Management topics, providing guidance on governance, ownership models, content lifecycle management, and knowledge-related improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Knowledge Management maturity and drive initiatives that improve knowledge quality, transparency, accessibility, reuse, and long-term sustainability.
  • Define and monitor relevant KPIs, metrics and maturity indicators to increase transparency, enable informed decision-making, and support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Management, P&O, operational Knowledge Management communities, and platform-related stakeholders to align governance requirements with business and technical capabilities.
  • Facilitate discussions, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the ongoing development of a scalable and future-oriented Knowledge Management landscape across our service delivery.

What you’ll bring:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Knowledge Management, Organizational Development, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in governance, process management, quality management, knowledge management, organizational development, continuous improvement, or related areas.
  • A strong interest in Knowledge Management and a passion for enabling organizations to effectively create, share, govern, and leverage knowledge.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, or supporting governance frameworks, standards, policies, operating models, or transformation initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
  • The ability to think strategically while translating concepts and objectives into practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, organizational levels, and international teams.
  • Proven capability to facilitate discussions, align diverse perspectives, and drive topics forward in an environment that requires influence rather than formal authority.
  • Experience in leading or supporting change, adoption, community-building, or organizational improvement initiatives.
  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style combined with a high degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • The confidence to navigate ambiguity, shape new topics, and continuously develop approaches and solutions in an evolving environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
