PreSales Director APAC Zone

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Greater China organization. You serve in a general manager capacity with P&L responsibility for the region. You provide strategic and operational direction to the organization, including but not limited to Sales and Business Development, to improve Sales revenues as well as Services, to successfully maximize Customer Success opportunities and meet organizational objectives. This role includes the Managing Director directive and associated stakeholder management for the China legal entity
This is a truly avant-garde and progressive role that will mold and influence China’ Sales, Business Development and Services operations in alignment to broader business goals and strategy

Key Responsibilities
- As a Leader within a mid to larger Country/ Vertical / Regional management team, direct the activities of a small to medium team of PreSales Managers to ensure the delivery of robust and commercially responsible PreSales business operations to support sales of the Company's software and meet the goals of the business, ensuring established budget/cost measures are met.
- Set, or where appropriate contribute, to the Presales Country / Operating Unit / Line of Business (Vertical) / Portfolio / Practice Leadership strategy planning and setting of targets, priorities and initiatives understanding how to adapt global strategies to support the unique requirements of the organization, whilst also delivering the required global alignment and output. Oversee, or contribute to, Presales Country / Operating Unit / Line of Business (Vertical) / Portfolio / Practice Leadership personnel decisions such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, etc., in line with relevant regulations.
- Represent the Zone on Global PreSales Council meetings, communicating and championing issues and concerns from the zones, and reporting on Zone performance. Lead Mgt level PreSales meetings, communicating global strategy and priorities, monitoring compliance, and leading zone level participation in global initiatives. Coach PreSales Managers to deliver high quality business operations and develop high performing teams.
Experience Required
- Proven experience working in a Country or Zone Manager role
- Proven experience in driving direct and virtual teams to results
- Extensive and proven knowledge and experience of Challenger selling
- Experience with selling LCS and or DM software in Siemens key industries.
- Experience in working with Global Customer Outcome is an asset
- Multi-year experience in people management
