Logistics Project Operator

We are seeking a Logistics Project Operator to join our Mobility team in Vietnam and support the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in complex international project environments and enjoys coordinating the movement of materials across global supply chains. Working closely with the Logistics Project Manager and project delivery teams, you will ensure that project materials are procured, shipped, tracked, and delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with project schedules.

As Logistics Project Operator, you will play a vital role in coordinating end-to-end logistics activities across procurement, warehousing, transportation, customs, and site delivery. You will act as the key interface between project teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials reach the right place at the right time.
You will:
- Coordinate the planning, ordering, shipment, and delivery of project materials in line with project schedules and logistics requirements.
- Monitor material availability and stock levels, working closely with procurement, warehouses, factories, and project teams to ensure timely supply.
- Support the development and execution of logistics plans, material tracking processes, and project logistics reporting.
- Manage shipping activities including shipment documentation, export customs processes, certificates, packing lists, invoices, and transportation arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, international trade regulations, customs requirements, and local import/export regulations.
- Track shipments from origin through to site or warehouse delivery and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, customs authorities, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues and minimise delivery risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related enquiries, supporting effective communication across local and international project teams.
Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project logistics, international transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs regulations, international trade requirements, Incoterms, and global supply chain management.
- Experience coordinating shipments and managing logistics activities within complex project or engineering environments.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese customs regulations and international trade agreements would be highly regarded.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP systems and logistics management tools; SAP experience is beneficial.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Vietnamese language skills are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset with the ability to perform in a fast-paced project environment.
