Do you learn fast, take ownership, and want to work with projects that keep Denmark powered?

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Medium Voltage engineering team in Siemens Electrification & Automation in Ballerup. This is a role for someone who learns quickly, takes responsibility early, and enjoys turning technical details into real customer solutions. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you need curiosity, drive, structure, and the courage to ask questions, make decisions and move projects forward.

What are your responsibilities?
In this role, you will be close to the action. You will work with medium-voltage switchgear projects from early clarification to delivery, testing and handover. You will coordinate with customers, sales, factories, suppliers and colleagues and you will become the person who keeps the technical solution, the timeline and the stakeholders aligned.

  • Drive medium-voltage switchgear projects from kick-off and technical clarification to delivery, testing and final handover
  • Take financial and commercial ownership by managing project budgets, margins, risks and customer commitments to ensure projects are delivered successfully
  • Turn customer needs into clear technical solutions together with sales, engineering, factories and product specialists
  • Keep projects moving by planning tasks, following up on deadlines, removing obstacles and creating structure in complex situations
  • Learn our portfolio fast and build strong technical understanding of our medium-voltage solutions, tools and processes
  • Coordinate across borders with our international factories, Product Lifecycle Managers and internal Siemens teams
  • Ensure quality and compliance by checking specifications, standards, customer requirements and project documentation
  • Take part in hands-on testing and final functional checks before the equipment is handed over for energization
  • Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and management about progress, risks, decisions and next steps
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with technical understanding, high energy and a strong learning mindset. You like structure, but you are not afraid of change. You enjoy working with people, solving problems and taking ownership when something needs to be clarified or pushed forward.
  • A technical background such as Electrical Engineering (el-ingeniør), Electrical Installation Engineer (el-installatør), Marine Engineering (maskinmester), Technology Management (teknologiledelse), Automation (automationsteknolog/automationsingeniør) or similar
  • Practical experience from electrical projects, switchgear, installations, service, commissioning or technical project coordination is highly valued
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn quickly — especially when working with new tools, products and technical details
  • Interest in medium-voltage equipment, electrical infrastructure, automation or energy distribution
  • A structured mindset and the ability to keep overview when several tasks are moving at once
  • Confidence to communicate with customers, colleagues and suppliers, also when the answer is not obvious yet
  • Strong English skills; Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement from day one
  • Good digital skills and comfort working with Microsoft Office and project tools
  • A valid driver’s license, as some site visits and customer meetings will be part of the job

We offer
You will join an energetic and collaborative engineering team where we work closely together, share knowledge and support each other in the everyday project work. We take our technical deliveries seriously, but we also believe that a good team culture, trust and a positive atmosphere are what make people grow and projects succeed.
From the beginning, you will be trained in our systems, products and processes. You will get a mentor, learn from experienced colleagues and gradually build the technical confidence needed to run your own projects. If you are motivated, curious and ready to learn, we will help you grow into the role.

We offer you a self-employed job with much autonomy and freedom. We also offer you a favorable pension scheme and health insurance, fitness facilities, share program, social events, clubs and many more benefits. In order to ensure mutually rewarding working conditions we focus on creating a flexible working environment in Siemens where you have the opportunity of working from home 1-2 days a week.
