You’ll make an impact by
- You conduct comprehensive threat and risk analyses for electrification and automation products, subsequently deriving and implementing appropriate protection measures
- Building on this, you ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IEC 62443 by guiding and supporting certification processes, including vulnerability assessments for cryptographic algorithms and key management
- You provide expert consultation on the secure integration of cryptography into products, advising development teams on the selection and implementation of secure protocols and cryptographic requirements
- Additionally, you assess cryptographic risks, develop effective countermeasures, and support audits by ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to internal security and cryptography policies
- You are the first point of contact for our regions on security matters and advise customers directly on complex topics
- Education: You hold a master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering with longterm professional experience in cybersecurity
- Experience & Skills:
- You have deep expertise in modern cryptography, including symmetric, asymmetric, and hybrid methods
- You possess in-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC, SHA-2/3), PKI, certificates (X.509), OCSP, CRL, trust anchors, and relevant standards (NIST, BSI, ETSI)
- You are experienced with secure key lifecycle management, secure protocols (TLS, IPsec, SSH, IEC 62351), and post-quantum cryptography (ML-KEM, ML-DSA)
- Ways of working:
- You demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and effective communication skills when collaborating with cross-functional teams
- You are willing to travel occasionally within Germany, in some cases world wide
- Languages: You are proficient in both German and English
