Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It!)
As a Junior Project Controller, you'll be an integral part of our project teams, supporting the financial success of exciting energy infrastructure projects from start to finish. You'll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Financial Support: Assisting with financial management, reporting, and forecasting for projects.
  • Risk & Opportunity Insight: Learning to identify and track project risks, claims, and opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, sales, and execution teams.
  • Strategic Contribution: Developing an understanding of how financial data informs strategic decisions.

Our business unit in The Hague is a global hub for energy distribution in data centers within Siemens worldwide. We design and deliver intelligent solutions that are essential for a sustainable future. You'll be contributing to something truly meaningful!

What You'll Be Doing (and Learning a Lot Along the Way!)

  • Supporting financial and contractual project management (sales & execution).
  • Assisting with risk, claim, and change management processes.
  • Contributing to reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborating with the project team and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Learning to support sales with quotations and cost calculations.
  • Gaining exposure to processes like insurance and taxation.

Who You Are
You're a bright, eager, and sales-minded individual ready to dive into the world of project finance. You're a natural team player with excellent communication skills, excited to learn and contribute.

  • Freshly Graduated: Bachelor’s in Finance & Control or Business Economics.
  • Communication Star: You can clearly articulate ideas and work effectively with others.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working towards shared goals.
  • Sales-Minded: You understand the importance of business objectives and customer value.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Tech-Savvy (or eager to be!): Basic understanding or keen interest in learning systems like SAP, Power BI, IFRS, and SOX.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for accuracy.
