EHS Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our Mobility business in Vietnam and support the safe delivery of major rail infrastructure projects.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving a strong safety culture across project and construction site activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements while supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project leadership, project teams, consortium partners, contractors, and customers to achieve our ultimate objective: Zero Harm.

As EHS Manager, you will provide expert guidance, leadership, and oversight across all environmental, health, and safety matters throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS management systems, promoting continuous improvement, managing risks, and ensuring that all project personnel operate in a safe and compliant working environment.
You will:
- Lead all environmental, health, and safety activities across the project, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, contractual requirements, industry standards, and Siemens EHS policies.
- Advise and support project and site management teams on EHS strategy, risk management, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve project-specific EHS plans, emergency response plans, site regulations, and related procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety reviews, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
- Establish and maintain EHS reporting processes, project KPIs, safety performance monitoring, and communication programs across all project stakeholders.
- Lead the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams and consortium partners to share lessons learned, best practices, and opportunities to enhance EHS performance.
Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow:
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional EHS qualification and demonstrated practical experience in EHS management.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within construction, infrastructure, industrial, engineering, or similar project environments.
- Strong knowledge of EHS management systems and international standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experience developing and implementing EHS procedures, management plans, risk assessments, and site safety programs.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; Vietnamese language capability would be highly regarded.
