We are looking for a Jr. Supplier Quality Engineer. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie systems facility.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure parts and material meet specifications.
- Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers based on quality performance.
- Develop and implement incoming inspection plan for existing and new production parts.
- Lead supplier audits and identify gaps for continuous improvement.
- Support production, engineering and quality engineering team for supplier issues and escalations.
- Leading production part approval process and related activities.
- Drive reduction in supplier incident and failure rates.
- Lead continuous improvement projects at incoming inspection and PPAP process.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supplier quality management role in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience in leading a cross functional team in a production environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Knowledge of QMS, CAPA and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45000.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
PreferredQualifications:
- SAP Knowledge
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Six Sigma, ASQ Certification preferred, and Black belt is a plus.
- Prior experience in performing PPAPs and incoming quality inspection.

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
