Your role:
As a Junior Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Electrification and Automation area in Milan, contributing to the setup and success of a structured, world-class customer support process of the Business Unit. Your day-to-day activities will include acting as main entry point for our customer support process, ensuring the support process runs smoothly, and close collaboration with product experts and engineering to support the best customer experience in making use of Siemens customer support processes.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Actively supporting structuring and up-scaling of the processes for customer support, adopting a robust process to trace cases, leveraging existent Siemens tools.
- Acting as entry point for customers needing support using or selecting Siemens Electrification and Automation products
- Providing first-level technical support for protection relays, energy automation, power quality and medium voltage products.
- Leveraging AI and digital tools to improve troubleshooting, knowledge sharing and technical support processes.
- Assisting customers in troubleshooting product configurations, commissioning, and operation issues.
- Analysing technical requests and identify appropriate solutions in collaboration with senior specialists and Headquarters.
- Supporting root-cause analysis activities and contribute to resolving technical issues.
- Contributing to building a structured knowledge base that improves future troubleshooting activities and customer experience.
- Collecting feedback from customers regarding product performance and usability.
- Sharing market and application insights with product management and R&D teams.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives related to products, tools, and support processes.
What makes you a great match:
Core Requirements
- Technical diploma, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation Engineering.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in technical support, application engineering, commissioning, field service, or a similar technical role in the electrical sector.
- Practical exposure to customer support, troubleshooting, technical documentation, or product/application support activities.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical protections, and technical problem solving.
- Demonstrates a strong customer-centric approach, building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders while proactively addressing their needs and challenges.
- Thrives in dynamic environments by quickly learning new concepts, adapting to changing priorities, and continuously developing skills and expertise.
- Consistently delivers high-quality results by taking ownership of objectives, working proactively, and effectively managing interactions in client-facing environments.
- Digitally native attitude, with a strong propensity to digitalize processes.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Passion to never-stop growing.
- Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
- Familiarity with digital tools and MS Office.
- Eligibility to work in Italy.
Preferred Requirements
- Good knowledge of HV/MV networks and electrical protection concepts.
- Experience with Customer Support/Ticketing Systems.
- Experience with electrical testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting activities.
- Previous experience or projects related to power systems, protection, automation, or medium voltage products.

The pay range for this position is €37.600–€50.000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
