Finance Manager – Business Performance Controlling (BPC)

Shape the financial performance of a leading healthcare technology business.

We're looking for a Finance Manager – Business Performance Controlling to join our GB&I Finance team. This is a high-impact role where you'll help steer business performance, influence strategic decisions, and provide financial insight across a £75m operational cost base.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll lead headcount and operational cost planning, forecasting and performance management, helping the business identify opportunities, manage risk and drive sustainable growth.

What you'll be doing

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis for operational and people-related costs.
• Drive headcount planning, tracking recruitment activity, workforce movements and cost forecasting.
• Partner with business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Deliver clear financial insights and recommendations that support decision-making.
• Own payroll cost controlling, incentive plan forecasting and cost allocation processes.
• Improve and automate reporting, planning models and finance processes using digital and AI-enabled solutions.
• Support financial governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

What you'll bring

• Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling or Business Performance Management.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into practical business insights.
• Confidence building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• A passion for continuous improvement, digitalisation and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience in headcount, SG&A or operational cost controlling.
• Exposure to matrix or multinational organisations.
• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
