Description:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll play a critical role in fueling Siemen’s growth by creating new business opportunities and connecting prospective customers with solutions that help them achieve their goals.

Whether you're early in your career and eager to break into software sales or you already have prospecting experience and are looking to sharpen your skills, this role offers the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in consultative selling, business development, and relationship building.

You'll partner closely with our Account Executives and Marketing teams to identify potential clients, uncover business challenges, and generate high-quality sales opportunities. Success in this role comes from curiosity, resilience, coachability, and a passion for helping organizations solve meaningful problems.

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Prospecting and engaging potential customers through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound outreach channels
  • Generating qualified sales opportunities by identifying business needs and uncovering potential challenges
  • Conducting meaningful discovery conversations with decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Managing and prioritizing daily outreach activities while maintaining ownership of your pipeline and performance metrics
  • Accurately documenting prospect interactions and opportunities within Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition from initial conversation to active sales opportunity
  • Applying coaching and feedback to continuously improve outreach effectiveness, messaging, and results
  • Contributing to a high-energy, collaborative team environment focused on learning, growth, and shared success

Location: This is a hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote work) position requiring your onsite presence Tuesday-Thursday in our Raleigh (North Hills) office.

This is how you'll win us over:
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ year of sales, customer-facing, business development, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or other relationship-driven experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and confidence in professional conversations
  • A high level of motivation and a desire to build a successful career in sales
  • Resilience and persistence when working toward goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn about customers, technology, and business challenges
  • A growth mindset and openness to coaching, feedback, and continuous development
  • Ability to think critically and adapt during live conversations
You'll thrive even more if you also bring:
  • Previous experience in outbound prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, or business development
  • Experience working toward goals, quotas, performance metrics, or customer engagement targets
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, customer service, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing industries
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of personal performance and consistently follow through on commitments
  • Strong listening skills and a consultative approach to conversations
