As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a driven and highly motivated Senior Presales Solutions Consultant to join our Technical Solutions team in Bangalore, India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by helping customers accelerate innovation through advanced simulation and digital engineering technologies.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and simulation with strong customer-facing consulting and technical sales skills. You will engage with engineering leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to understand their challenges, position Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions, and support strategic digital transformation initiatives.

This position is intended for an experienced simulation professional who can leverage extensive CAE knowledge to support opportunities across the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Electronics, and Energy industries. The focus will be on driving customer engagements, conducting technical discovery workshops, delivering proof-of-concept projects, and enabling digital thread and digital twin transformation initiatives using the Siemens Simcenter portfolio and the broader Siemens Xcelerator platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer workshops, and consultative engagements.
• Position Simcenter 3D and Siemens Xcelerator solutions to address customer engineering and business challenges.
• Deliver compelling solution demonstrations, technical presentations, and executive briefings.
• Define, plan, and execute Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects to demonstrate solution value.
• Support RFP responses, compliance assessments, competitive evaluations, and technical proposals.
• Drive discussions around Digital Twin, Digital Thread, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and simulation-driven engineering.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams, account managers, partners, and industry specialists to qualify and advance strategic opportunities.
• Enable customers, partners, and internal teams through technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them define and execute their digital engineering and simulation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in CAE, simulation, engineering consulting, application engineering, technical account management, or technical presales.
• Strong expertise in one or more simulation domains, including:
  • Structural Analysis
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Dynamics and Multibody Dynamics
  • Durability and Fatigue
  • Thermal Analysis
  • Multiphysics Simulation
  • Optimization
  • Crash and Explicit Dynamics
• Hands-on experience with Simcenter 3D and related Siemens simulation technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of simulation workflows, engineering processes, and digital engineering transformation.
• Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with both technical and executive-level audiences.
• Experience working with customers in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Electronics, or Energy industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, and the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
• Exposure to Digital Twin, Digital Thread, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Systems Engineering methodologies.
• Familiarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI/ML applications in engineering, or advanced simulation automation is a plus.
