The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a Mechanical Order Engineer to join our team! This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC site.
This person will review and process incoming orders, design custom Components and Assemblies, create documentation for manufacturing, construct Bill of Materials, and answer inquiries concerning the orders. The candidate will report to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor and will have no direct reports.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Reviewing and processing incoming orders, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate; evaluate unique customer requirements and apply appropriate design solutions for each order.
- Produce detailed manufacturing documentation and provide mechanical design support for manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, communicate professionally with customers and the sales force, and develop technical recommendations to deliver customer solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate activities with internal departments to meet customer needs and ensure successful order execution.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve semi-complex problems; apply best practices, lessons learned, and sound judgment to recognize and report potential customer incidents and issues.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while supporting efficient project and customer order delivery.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree in an Engineering or related field
- 1+ year of experience in an Engineering or CAD Role
- Experience using 3D modeling software
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computers.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with busway, panelboard, or switchboard design.
- Experience using Creo.
- Experience using SAP.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution products.
- Experience using Teamcenter.

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
