Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) is looking for a new colleague to join their team as a Senior HR Services & Payroll Expert for Poland.

About your new role:

The Senior HR Services & Payroll Expert serves as the key functional expert and trusted advisor for HR Services and Payroll delivery supporting the Polish customer.

The role ensures compliant, accurate, and efficient HR and payroll operations while driving process excellence, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides functional supervision and guidance to the dedicated delivery team and acts as a strategic partner to customer stakeholders, payroll providers, and HR organizations.

Key Focus Areas:

Customer Ownership & Strategy

• Act as the primary functional contact for our Polish customer organization.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with local P&O, Finance, Works Council representatives, and business stakeholders.
• Lead governance and service review discussions to ensure service excellence through proactive issue resolution.

Poland Payroll & HR Services Expertise

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Polish payroll and HR administration processes.
• Ensure total compliance with Polish labor law, social insurance, tax, and payroll regulations.
• Take the lead on resolving complex or exceptional payroll cases and coordinate closely with providers to ensure seamless service.

Process Improvement & Digitalization

• Drive the standardization, harmonization, and optimization of our processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, AI, and digital solutions.
• Play a key role in supporting global and regional transformation programs.

Functional Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide day-to-day functional direction and guidance to the dedicated service team.
• Ensure process adherence while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and capability development.
• Support onboarding and upskilling activities, coordinating priorities and workload alignment.

What your profile should look like:

Must-Have Requirements

• Extensive experience in HR Services and Payroll Operations, specifically within the Polish market.
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Polish payroll environment and labor legislation.
• Experience working within outsourcing or shared service environments.
• Proven track record in driving process improvements and digital transformations.
• Fluent in both English and Polish.

Nice to have

• Workday experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Hands-on experience with AI, RPA, or automation projects.
• Multi-country payroll exposure or transition/migration project experience.
