What are my responsibilities?

* Develop and maintain production-grade robot connectivity and communication interfaces

* Design and implement impedance control solutions for advanced robotic applications

* Develop force-controlled and compliant robotic motion capabilities

* Integrate standardized robot communication and interoperability interfaces, including SRCI-based solutions

* Develop and integrate real-time control and motion execution interfaces

* Design and implement future robot platform, runtime, and controller integration interfaces

What do I need to qualify for this job?

* BSc., MSc., or PhD. in Mechatronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

* Proven track record with 5+ years of professional software development experience

* Experience with industrial robot communication interfaces and interoperability standards, including UR RTDE, URScript, SRCI, OPC UA, and similar robot controller communication technologies

* Experience in impedance and admittance control, force/torque sensing and calibration, compliance control strategies, and servo-level motion command streaming

* Experience with industrial communication protocols and real-time systems, including PROFINET, IRT, OPC UA, cycle-time optimization, latency and jitter analysis, and motion control concepts

* Strong experience with C++, Python, ROS 2 (including ros2_control and related drivers), protocol analysis, interoperability testing, and software integration

* Experience in performance analysis, diagnostics, controller trace and log evaluation, latency measurement, system troubleshooting, and hardware-in-the-loop validation

* Familiarity with industrial robot controllers and automation platforms such as Universal Robots, ABB, FANUC, KUKA, SIMATIC, SINUMERIK, or comparable technologies is an advantage

* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams

* Knowledge of and experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies is an advantage

* Very good command of English

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills

* No restriction for travelling abroad
