Today, we are recruiting for a Site Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Be responsible for the interface management between Civil Contractor and Siemens System (E&M) Scope at design and construction phase in Railway Turnkey Projects.
- Lead the integration interface process of the E&M systems into the overall Rail System together with the consortium partner (e.g., track work), the involved civil companies, and consultants for the Main Line wayside sections.
- Be responsible for managing all civil-related interfaces between Siemens System scope and the involved civil companies.
- Ensure that the E&M interfaces with different civil companies are harmonized among each other to avoid individual solutions with different interface partners.
- Follow the work management progress for civil contractors and necessary compliance reports representing it.
- Manage project consortium targets relating to civil scope progress against schedule to make sure that our interface access and SMO Systems is as per the agreed Interface protocols and targets.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related Engineering discipline.
- Prior 12-17+ years work experience in Civil Engineering, including significant experience in rail transportation infrastructure and mega turnkey transport projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge in core transport infrastructure development, including stations, wayside facilities, depots, track construction, and railway systems; proven interface management and contractual expertise covering tender analysis, contract review, and interface coordination across engineering disciplines; and strong technical assessment capabilities for structural and civil works planning, system design for railway infrastructure, engineering structures, and associated railway installations.
- Proven ability to lead, direct, and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Business Level proficiency).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
