Your Mission in Our Team 

You'll join Siemens Digital Industries' Automation Engineering division, where we enable automotive manufacturers to unlock their full potential through advanced automation and digitalization. Your expertise in TIA Portal and SIMATIC systems will be essential as you contribute to the development and deployment of automation solutions across multiple portfolios - Bodyshop, Battery Module/Pack, Paintshop, Final Assembly, and Conveyor Systems

Working place for this position are different automotive production sites in Europe and requires staying and working abroad. 

Challenges That Await 
  • Develop and optimize automation and TIA plant software, including SIMATIC controller visualization and WinCC interfaces that bring production systems to life
  • Design conceptual TIA software projects aligned with OEM customer standards, ensuring seamless integration across diverse automotive production environments
  • Implementation of standardized functions and application system component selection 
  • Commissioning of I/O checks, PROFINET bus technology, safety-relevant applications, and automation software 
  • Deploying dynamic, project-based missions to European automotive production facilities, taking ownership of on-site implementation and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and clarification of process-specific technical details. 

What Will Make Your Candidacy Stand Out 
  • 5+ years of proven project experience in TIA software development, commissioning, and deployment in industrial automation environments
  • Deep technical expertise in automation tools (TIA Portal, WinCC) and Siemens technologies (SIMATIC, PROFINET, Fail-Safe systems)
  • Solid background in drive and power technology with the ability to integrate these systems into broader automation architectures
  • Strong foundational knowledge in automation engineering (university degree or technical college qualification)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) enabling seamless communication across multinational teams and customer interactions
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and take ownership of complex technical problems.
