In this role you will:
- Lead the end-to-end design and evolution of complex, scalable, and high-quality software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Define and champion solution design patterns, best practices, and technical standards across multiple projects or domains.
- Develop critical components and proof-of-concepts, validating architectural decisions through hands-on implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex technical issues spanning multiple systems and components.
- Provide direct technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.
- Drive the execution of complex software projects in fast-paced, agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, performant, and secure systems.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks to maintain project velocity and quality.
- Engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, negotiate solutions, and resolve conflicts.
- Communicate complex technical strategies, architectural decisions, and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Influence technology choices, architectural direction, and long-term technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategy and industry trends.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a lead, principal, or solutions engineering role.
- Deep proficiency in Python and C++, with extensive experience in modern software development practices and architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures).
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, performance optimization, and security principles.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams, providing technical direction and fostering collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects in agile environments, with practical experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern deployment strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of driving practical, innovative solutions.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, robust, maintainable, and well-tested software.
