You'll make an impact by
  • You will start by analyzing the current state of technology and scientific methods for automated report generation, specifically focusing on Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
  • Next, you will conduct a thorough requirements analysis in close collaboration with stakeholders and potential users to ensure the application meets their needs
  • Subsequently, you will design the app architecture, including data modeling, interface design, and document structure to support the automated creation of EPDs
  • You will then implement the solution in a low-code environment such as Mendix, applying your software development skills
  • Finally, you will conduct and evaluate practical tests using real product and EPD data to validate the effectiveness of the application and make necessary adjustments

  • Education: You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Sustainability Management with an IT focus, or a related field
  • Experience and Skills:
    • You have a strong interest in sustainability topics and ecological assessment approaches
    • You possess initial experience in software development, particularly with low-code platforms such as Mendix or PowerApps
    • You have knowledge in data modeling and interface design, including APIs
  • Ways of Working: You demonstrate an analytical and structured approach to work, with the ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential
