We, at Siemens Grid Software Sales, are looking for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer (f/m/d) for Spectrum Power 5 to join our Technical Sales team in Nuremberg, Germany. This person shall act as a Trusted Advisor with technical excellence, serving our customers and other stakeholders creating value-driven solutions, preparing use cases and demonstrating Spectrum Power 5, as well as convincing customers with technical expertise and strong sales skills.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Execution of Technical Sales Engineer (f/m/d) activities towards power grid customers with a special focus on the Spectrum Power 5 portfolio
  • Execution of both onsite and remote presentations and demonstrations of Spectrum Power 5 use cases to our German and international prospects, customers, consultants and other stakeholders combined with periodic booth activities during professional fairs or similar events
  • Design and implementation of Spectrum Power 5 demo systems and technical solutions tailored to the needs of our customers. Global governance over Spectrum Power 5 demo systems
  • Enablement and support of sales colleagues and partners
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve our systems, processes, and offerings

  • Education
    • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience & Skills
    • More than 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Engineer (f/m/d) with a focus on power grids mandatory
    • Experience in the setup and configuration of Spectrum Power is mandatory
    • Ability to present and demonstrate complex technical products as well as to convince customers with technical expertise and strong sales skills
    • Strong customer focus and the aspiration to be a trusted advisor, helping customers create value-driven solutions
  • Ways of working
    • Analytical, problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making abilities and a growth mindset combined with strong teamwork
  • Languages
    • Business proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in other world languages is advantageous
