You’ll create impact by:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Quality: Strategically identify and secure reliable sources for materials and components, ensuring strict quality and specification compliance with internal standards.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage long-term, collaborative relationships with suppliers to foster innovation, ensure supply continuity, and negotiate favourable terms.

  • Cost and Value Optimization: Analyze spends and market trends to optimize procurement costs and maximize overall value using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies.

  • Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify supply chain risks and ensure all procurement practices strictly meet safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

  • Internal Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with Production and Logistics to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and set up timely delivery of materials for manufacturing.


Your defining qualities:

  • Technical Switchgear Knowledge: Thoroughly understand Medium and Low Voltage switchgear panel operation, types, ratings, and safety features for accurate supplier offer evaluation.

  • Procurement Strategy & Track Record: Proven track record in managing all procurement activities, including developing strategies, leading negotiations, and demonstrating cost control in a manufacturing or electrical engineering environment with minimum 5 years of experience in related fields.

  • Procurement Analytics: Proficiency in using procurement analytics tools and data to assess supplier performance, production demand, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Standards and Compliance: Familiarity with international and regional certifications/standards, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and ethical sourcing practices.

  • Team Leadership & Business Alignment: Capability to manage cross-functional teams and successfully negotiate with suppliers to align procurement goals directly with overall business objectives.
