Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
We are looking for a highly skilled Research and Development Engineer to join our team. Ideal candidate should have experience with gas turbine components and design. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing, documenting, deploying and maintaining software and design tools. The engineers will also prepare training documents and presentations to train engineers in the use of the software and design tools, ensuring the success of design projects in terms of time, cost, and quality
How You will Make an Impact
This role focuses on developing design tools and software for large gas turbines. The typical scope of work includes:
- Developing design tools/ software for disciplines such as aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity and lifing
- Collaborating with CAD designers to create stable parametric geometries
- Writing scripts for tool chain automation and multi-disciplinary optimization
- Developing robust design tools/ software for gas turbine service team.
We are looking for motivated and resilient minds:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
• Proficient programming experience (Python, bash, C, C++, Linux)
• Experience with parametric CAD software (e.g., NX)
• 3+ years of experience (or a PhD) in the gas or aero turbine industry.
