We are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Developing, organizing, and writing user guides, manuals, instruction documents, and other technical publications.
  • Understanding and documenting technical specifications of products and technology services.
  • Collaborating with technical and product development teams to gather and interpret technical information.
  • Reviewing and editing prepared documents and manuscripts for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and proper formatting.
  • Maintaining a library of technical documentation, revising existing documents, and updating documentation for enhancements and new features.
  • Utilizing various tools to create diagrams, charts, and other visuals to aid in users' comprehension.
  • Ensuring technical verbiage is accessible to a non-technical audience.
  • Adhering to compliance with relevant document standards and regulations.

To qualify for the position of Technical Writer, candidates should meet the following educational and certification standards:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (EEE, IP, Electronics and Communication, Telecom) accompanied by additional courses or experience in writing.
  • Professional certifications such as the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) or similar credentials are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in technical writing in a relevant field, such as software development, engineering, or IT operations.
  • Strong skills in word processing and documentation software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and XML editors.
  • Experience with technical communication tools and content management systems.
  • Ability to understand complex information and convey it in an effective and comprehensible manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various technical teams and stakeholders.
