Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!
We are looking for a dynamic individual in UAE. In this role you will directly report to the Head of Operations. To be a successful, you must be able to work on multidisciplinary projects and have great communication and presentation skills.
The Sr. Project Engineer is expected to lead, manage and deliver profitable projects based on domain expertise as well as being expected to have a deep knowledge, understanding and application of both technical segments and project management disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor and manage the team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients to address service concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Organize quarterly management meeting of all customers with own management
Operational Oversight:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Financial Management:
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of the service and solution projects.
- Prepare reports and forecasts on department performance and financial outcomes.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze service workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative strategies to enhance service delivery.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide high-level guidance on complex technical issues and escalate to specialists or manufacturers as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technology updates and product knowledge.
Client Training and Support:
- Organize training sessions or workshops for clients to maximize equipment and service usage.
- Provide recommendations for service packages or upgrades tailored to client needs.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Accurately presents project status to the Head of Operations in monthly review meetings and weekly stand-up calls.
- Escalate topics as needed and maintain transparency.
- Ensure submission of detailed service reports, including diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations, after each site visit.
- Assist in preparing service proposals or estimates for repairs or upgrades.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company and industry safety standards during all service operations.
- Ensure that all work complies with local regulations and customer requirements.
Continuous Learning:
- Participate in training programs to stay informed about new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Share knowledge and insights with team members to foster collective expertise.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 10-12 years of experience in relevant field.
- Experience in MEP/HVAC segment is preferred
- Experience in Siemens BMS in relation to design and engineering
- Driving License is a must.
- Being well versed in mechanical systems is a requirement
- Commitment towards continuously improvement is a requirement.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Previous experience of handling multiple discipline projects and energy optimization projects is mandatory.
- Excellent project management and supervision skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
