Position Overview
Are you seeking an innovative organization, the creators of FIN Framework (FIN), a state-of-the-art open framework for building automation and building related IoT applications that run on embedded controls, servers, and the cloud?

Joining our R&D team will allow you to be a part of our growing organization and be hands-on working on exciting and innovative projects, including modernizing our current platform and building a new progressive, industry-changing platform.
As a Product Owner, you’ll work in a collaborative and agile environment with software team members, managers, stakeholders, sales, and customers. You’ll be crucial for contributing to the strategy of our products portfolio, building features requirements, and driving the success of our product launches.
Successful candidates will actively focus on researching, proposing, and documenting valuable and innovative features that will drive our products to more success. They will partner with business and technology to make sure that R&D is working on the most important features and that deliverables meet expectations. They should be detail-oriented, strive for excellence, and are excited by working in high-performance teams that value innovation, collaboration, on-time deliverables, continuous process improvement, and team success.
Key Responsibilities
• Document feature requirements into multiple formats, high-level proposals and/or detailed user stories.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog of work for the development team to work from.
• Participating in team planning meetings and exercising availability to provide advice, clarification, and guidance during the execution of each Sprint, working alongside engineering teams.
• Engage with Product Management to influence visions, roadmaps, business strategies and outbound marketing collateral.
• Identify customer business needs and translate them into documented requirements.
• Collaborate and capture feedback from cross-functional partners (R&D, executives, sales, and customers)
• Participate in UAT of delivered features.
• Provide feedback on UX/UI design initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
• Solid experience in translating high level requirements in in-depth user stories for
the R&D team.
• Solid understanding of building automation systems responsibilities, and potentials.
• Experience working in the HVAC control industry is a great plus.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills.
• Experience working as part of an R&D team in an agile environment.
• Data-oriented mindset and can maintain KPIs to measure success.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Worked on software projects that used agile methodologies, including iterative planning/delivery and daily stand-ups.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
• Curious to learn with a growth mindset and passion for technology.
