Construction Area Sales Manager, Circuit Protection & Control - Low/Medium Voltage Products

Construction Area Sales Manager, Circuit Protection & Control - Low/Medium Voltage Products

This position will reside in the greater Western US Region – (Hybrid role to include both remote / office sites)

Role Description

  • As the Construction Area Sales Manager, you will drive profitable revenue and market share growth in the Western US Region for the Circuit Breaker and Controls Products portfolio.
  • Lead a fast-paced team of (12) remote, sales resources to develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed orders and revenue goals.
  • Increase market share by securing new customers and growing business within existing OEM Partners in specified area.
  • Develop positive relationships with key accounts and primary collaborators, identify customer needs and answer customer questions.
  • Educate customers and the market on product portfolio to ensure full market penetration.
  • Understand the local business environment including competition, purchasing, sales and key customer trends and implement growth strategies.
  • Participate in industry conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Engage with the sales team to continually develop and grow their skills.

You will win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered.
  • 8+ years of validated experience in Circuit Protection and Controls or low/medium voltage products
  • 3+ years of team management experience 
  • 5+ years of sales experience working across multiple channels i.e. OEM’s, electrical contractors, distributors, design/build houses, exporters and EPCs.
  • 3+ years of strong leadership and bold skills, record of success leading sales teams to profitable growth.
  • Ability to travel 50%.
  • Individual must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Individual must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

The pay range for this position is $131,662.00 - $225,706.00 annually with a target incentive of 42 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
