Siemens' Electrical Products business provides solutions for power distribution, generation, and services, encompassing a broad range of low- and medium-voltage products and digital services for industrial, building, and residential applications to support digital transformation and sustainability

We are looking for a Global Business Developer, Data Center. This position will be based in Atlanta GA.

In the Electrical Products business focused on data centers, we’re looking for a Global Business Developer to sharpen our competitive edge, expand market presence, and drive growth across hardware, systems, and service offerings in one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Developing and implementing go-to-market and account strategies for the data-center vertical—globally and regionally—aligned with Siemens’ commercial objectives and market dynamics.
  • Implementing account-level and regional critical initiatives in close collaboration with Key Account Managers, regional sales teams, and both direct and indirect channels.
  • Supporting market segmentation and rollout of vertical-specific offerings (hardware, software, services) to expand penetration in target markets.
  • Coordinating cross-business unit activities to ensure a unified market approach and increase share of wallet across Siemens’ portfolio.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting market intelligence—covering customer trends, competitors, and technology—to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Driving business development and pipeline creation, engaging with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data-center operators to generate new opportunities and investment proposals.
  • Translating market and customer needs into actionable inputs for product innovation and offering design.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across internal partners (sales, product management, engineering) and external partners to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or recognized business or STEM field.
  • 7+ years of experience with the following:
    • Proven success delivering go-to-market and account strategies within a defined industry or vertical.
    • Demonstrated ability to implement critical initiatives and coordinate across multiple business units.
    • Market analysis, intelligence gathering, and applying insights to commercial strategy.
    • Working knowledge in Electrical products or systems
    • Comfortable navigation of a global, matrixed organization.
  • 3+ years working with or for the data center (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise) industry.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 20–30%).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Low Voltage and Medium Voltage distribution, power monitoring, switchgear, automation systems knowledge or experience.
  • Understanding of data-center design, construction, and operational lifecycle.
  • German language fluency is a plus.

  • The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
