The Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating electrical test systems for automated manufacturing processes. This role combines expertise in electrical engineering with hands-on experience in robotics and automation to ensure high-quality, efficient production.


As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct Electrical Testing & Validation
  • Develop and execute electrical test plans for automated equipment and robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, sensors, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Work in Robotics & Automation
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to integrate robotic arms, conveyors, and vision systems.
  • Program and optimize PLCs, robotic controllers, and motion systems.
  • Support installation and commissioning of automated test stations.
  • Analyze test data to identify process improvements.
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies for electrical and robotic systems.
  • Drive cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and production teams.
  • Provide technical support during NPI (New Product Introduction) and ramp-up phases.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical testing and/or automation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robotic systems (UR, Fanuc, ABB, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial sensors, actuators, and safety circuits.
  • Familiarity with automation standards (IEC, NFPA, ISO).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vision systems and automated inspection.
  • Knowledge of MES and SCADA systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
