We are looking for a Test Manager

You’ll make a difference by: 

• We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test Architect with proven experience to define and drive the overall test strategy, architecture, and quality engineering framework for next‑generation railway and transportation systems.
• The candidate should be proficient in JavaScript and Python, possess working knowledge of C++, and have experience in both web and desktop application testing. You will lead the testing strategy from design to implementation — ensuring reliability, scalability, and innovation throughout our quality engineering ecosystem.
• Key Responsibilities
• Enterprise Test Strategy & Quality Architecture
• Define and own the end‑to‑end test strategy aligned with product vision, system architecture, and business goals.
• Architect scalable, reusable, and extensible test frameworks across UI, API, desktop, applications.
• Establish a unified quality engineering architecture covering functional, integration, regression, performance, security, resilience, and reliability testing.
• Evaluate and introduce modern testing tools and solutions (AI/ML-based testing, contract testing, etc.).
• Establish enterprise-wide QA governance, coding standards, quality KPIs, and best practices.
• Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence
• Provide technical leadership to QA, development, and DevOps teams on test practices, automation strategy, and quality engineering principles.
• Conduct architecture reviews, automation audits, and design reviews to ensure long‑term maintainability and scalability of QA solutions.
• Mentor engineers, enabling skill growth in automation, performance engineering, continuous testing, and architectural thinking.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex testing challenges involving distributed systems, integrations, data flows, and platform reliability.
• CI/CD, DevOps Integration & Continuous Testing
• Architect automated testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Implement automated quality gates, test impact analysis, coverage metrics, and intelligent test execution mechanisms.
• Drive continuous testing practices across all environments, including pre‑commit, PR validation, nightly builds, and pre‑production checks.
• Develop centralized test execution dashboards and reporting solutions for real‑time visibility into quality metrics.
• Advanced Quality Engineering & Problem Solving
• Lead root cause analysis and collaborate with architects and developers to improve system testability and reliability.
• Define strategies for non functional testing performance, load, stress, reliability, and failover testing in collaboration with performance and SRE teams.
• Analyze non‑automatable scenarios; propose architectural or design improvements to enhance automation feasibility.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Strategic Influence
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and development leadership to drive organization-wide quality transformations.
• Represent Quality Engineering in technical councils, architecture boards, and strategic roadmap discussions.
• Drive initiatives like test data management, environment strategy, synthetic data frameworks, and enterprise metrics standardization.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 5+ years in a Test Architect or similar leadership role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, Appium, etc.).
• Expertise in testing distributed systems, microservices.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, containers, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust) .
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code principles, and architectural best practices.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
