Apply now for the position of Junior Accountant you will support daily accounting operations, including transactional accounting, reconciliations, archiving, and month-end close activities

Your role:

Process day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger postings.
Prepare and post journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, GL) and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support the preparation of management and financial reports.
Assist in maintaining and organizing financial data dashboards in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and supporting visual reporting for internal stakeholders.
Manage and maintain proper archiving of financial documents and accounting records, ensuring compliance with Siemens Healthineers’ documentation policies.
Provide support for internal and external audit requests.
Participate in process improvement and digitalization initiatives within the accounting department.
Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies, IFRS, and Siemens FRG requirements.
Ensure proper archiving and documentation of all financial records, maintaining accessibility and compliance for internal and external audits.

· Review and verify suppliers and freight forwarders invoices for accuracy, proper coding, authorization, and compliance with company policies prior to booking and payment.

·Review customs clearance documents and related import/export records, ensuring proper accounting treatment, compliance with tax regulations, and accurate posting of related costs

· Review and validate employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to travel and expense policies and accurate cost center allocation

Your expertise:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or shared services.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity or interest in learning Power BI for data visualization and financial dashboards.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
